Helping Families Become Calmer, More Connected and Resilient

Practical, compassionate workshops for parents, foster carers, schools and family organisations

Modern family life can be difficult to navigate.

Power struggles, big emotions, screen battles and concerns about children’s resilience can leave parents and carers feeling overwhelmed, guilty or uncertain about how best to respond.

My workshops help adults understand what may lie beneath a child’s behaviour and respond with greater calm, confidence and connection.

This is not about blaming parents, demanding perfect behaviour or removing technology from family life. It is about helping adults provide the calm, grounded leadership children need while creating healthier habits, stronger relationships and more opportunities for children to flourish in the real world.

Workshops are led by Chelvi Mailvaganan—a certified life coach and qualified therapeutic social worker with more than 20 years’ experience supporting children and families.

“I can’t recommend Chelvi highly enough. She has been an incredible support to our family. Chelvi has helped me understand my own reaction to my son’s behaviour and taught me how to regulate my emotions so I could better support him. She gave me the vision, the tools and the confidence to believe in him and help him manage his emotions in a much healthier way. He is much happier now. He is present in real life rather than online.”

Current Live Online Workshops

This September and October, I am offering three practical online workshops exploring some of the challenges parents and carers tell me they are struggling with most.

The workshops are particularly suitable for parents and carers of primary-aged children, although the ideas can be adapted for different ages, children and family circumstances.

When Your Child Pushes Back

From Power Struggles to Calm Cooperation

Sunday 20 September 2026 | 7–9pm UK

Does getting ready, leaving the house, completing homework, going to bed or switching off a screen repeatedly turn into a battle?

This workshop will help you understand what may be driving your child’s resistance and find calmer ways to hold loving boundaries—without constantly shouting, nagging, negotiating or giving in.

You will leave with practical strategies and your own Personal Calm Cooperation Plan.

When Your Child Has Big Feelings

How to Stay Calm, Connected and Emotionally Present

Sunday 27 September 2026 | 7–9pm UK

When a child is angry, anxious, disappointed or overwhelmed, it can trigger powerful emotions in the adults caring for them too.

This workshop will help you understand your child’s emotional world, recognise your own triggers and remain connected without immediately trying to fix, fight or withdraw from what is happening.

You will leave with a practical Emotional Presence Plan to help you navigate difficult moments with greater confidence.

Raising Resilient Children in a Digital World

Helping Your Child Thrive Beyond the Screen

Sunday 4 October 2026 | 7–9pm UK

Children need opportunities to experience boredom, frustration, waiting and disappointment in order to develop resilience.

This workshop explores how parents and carers can help children build concentration, perseverance, confidence and a healthier relationship with technology—without becoming anti-screen or creating another source of family conflict.

You will leave with your own Family Resilience and Digital Wellbeing Plan.

Early-Booking Price

Book before 17 September 2026 and attend:

One workshop for £33

All three workshops for £99

After the early-booking deadline, workshops will cost £49 each, or £111 for all three.

All workshops are delivered live online. A recording will be provided to everyone who books, so you can still benefit if you cannot attend live.

 Program Leader

The programme is led by Chelvi Mailvaganan, a certified life coach and therapeutic social worker with more than 20 years’ experience supporting adults, children and families through emotional challenges, personal growth and significant life transitions.

Her professional background spans children and family services, youth mentoring, community wellbeing and hospice and end-of-life care. This breadth of experience has given Chelvi a deep understanding of human behaviour, emotional resilience and what helps people create meaningful change.

As a long-standing meditator, Chelvi also brings a grounded understanding of attention, awareness and the importance of learning to remain present with our inner experience.

Her interest in digital distraction is personal as well as professional. Having experienced her own struggles with compulsive scrolling and screen use, she understands both the pull of these habits and the frustration that can follow.

Chelvi’s approach brings together therapeutic insight, coaching, meditation and lived experience. She offers a warm, non-judgemental space in which people can understand their patterns, reconnect with their values and create change that feels compassionate, realistic and sustainable.

How the program works

More than six weekly coaching sessions

The A Full Life Programme is deliberately different from a one-off workshop or self-paced online course.

There is something powerful about a small group of like-minded people coming together with a shared intention. Throughout the six weeks, you will have opportunities to share your experiences, learn from others and both offer and receive encouragement.

You will discover that you are not alone in finding it difficult to stop scrolling, tolerate boredom or remain focused when an easier source of stimulation is only a tap away.

Support between sessions

Change does not only happen during the weekly coaching calls. It happens in the ordinary moments when you feel tired, overwhelmed or tempted to fall back into an automatic habit.

That is why I will provide daily support through a private group WhatsApp community between sessions.

I will share encouragement, reflections and gentle prompts to help you put what you are learning into practice. This continuing support will help you navigate setbacks, recognise self-sabotaging patterns and stay connected to the reasons you wanted to change.

You will not have to rely on willpower or make the journey alone.

Ten weeks of additional support

Alongside the six-week programme, you will receive complimentary access to my weekly subscription programme for 10 weeks.

These additional sessions will help you work more deeply with experiences that often drive digital distraction, including stress, anxiety, boredom, difficult emotions and negative thoughts about yourself. We will also explore practical ways to establish healthier routines and lifestyle habits that support focus, balance and emotional wellbeing.

Support that continues

By the end of the programme, you will have a clearer understanding of your digital habits, a practical set of tools and a more compassionate, intentional way of responding to your triggers.

You will also be invited to join a private ongoing support community, where you can remain connected, share your progress and continue strengthening the changes you have begun.

Six weeks of coaching. Daily encouragement. Ten weeks of additional support. A foundation for lasting change.

Questions?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is Finally Fulfilled a coaching Program and not a course?

Finally Fulfilled is a coaching program as opposed to a course because you are being actively coached, guided and encouraged by me to take action and engage in the necessary training that is going to manifest the life you want; a life beyond binge eating. During the 6 weeks, aside from the formal weekly coaching sessions, I will be giving a lot of myself, by providing you with encouragement and inspiration and gentle nudges to keep you on track in-between sessions via Group WhatsApp support and ad hoc phone support if needed. By the end of the 6 weeks, your life will be transformed.
